There are lots of parks and open areas with lots of green plants, with excellent parks and
gardens. Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve is a 1,040-acre area in Birmingham with lots of green space, caves, and old mines to explore.

Red Mountain Park is an excellent place to enjoy nature. You can walk or ride a bike there and spend time exploring the outdoors. One Pratt Park was created after a giant tornado in 2011 ravaged the area. It shows how vital parks are for us.
